Cowhide and Pigskin gloves have experienced another dramatic price increase. This is due to a shortage of raw leather; as well as, a crack down on leather tanneries in China for the Olympic Games. The tougher environmental regulations have limited the amount of product available. These fluctuations in prices will likely last for most of 2008; however, we are hoping the prices will come back down to historical levels at some point in the future. Once the costs of the leather gloves recede, we will be sure to reduce our prices in turn.
